We have a thrilling announcement! During cleaning, the team found a few cases of Markko Excelsior from 1986 and 1992!
In 1982, Arnie Esterer hired a French winemaker from the University of Dijon (Burgundry, France). Together, they carefully produced a sparkling Riesling/Chardonnay using the traditional method champenoise. The method involves months, even years, of care for the juice, including careful measurements for the perfect dosage and precise rotations of the bottles. You’ll even find a paint stripe on the bottom of each bottle, displaying the starting point for the riddling process.
We will be selling an extremely limited amount of these bottles at Markko this weekend (Friday & Saturday 12pm-6pm) - this is your chance to own a piece of Markko history!
