Regional meetings are open to ALL in the Ohio grape, wine, mead and cider communities:
OWPA is again planning some important and open regional meetings to update everyone on major issues including
Ideas to address declining consumption patterns
Discussing ways to address THC beverage impacts, F permit compliance and violations, the potential negative impact on self-distribution as result of the 6th Circuit Court [US Supreme Court] decisions
Given term limits and the coming election, programs planned to get our elected officials to know us BEFORE we need them
OLDC teams will be on site to share information and will conduct Q and A sessions.
OGIC will share updates on their programming.
Local CVB’s will be invited to strengthen partnerships and to learn more about the impact of wineries on regional tourism.
Local festival organizers will be invited to help them comply more carefully with temporary permit regulations [to protect wineries against violations and citations.]
At each session, there will be one professional development topic to be determined via regional industry surveys.
PLUS .... opportunities for networking, camaraderie and to build a stronger industry in these difficult times.
Cost is $40* per person and includes coffee, welcome muffins or doughnuts, lunch and a glass of wine. Each session will begin at 10 am and conclude about 3 pm.
