This will be our very first Lavender harvest at Maize Valley. The crop is Very young but we have some that is ready to harvest. These are not huge plants yet but do have beautiful blooms, please manage expectations accordingly. We hope to begin with this event in 2019 and build upon it for the future. We currently have about 1500 plants in of which approximately 300-400 have blooms. We will be planting about another 1000 very soon. Visit will us as we grow!

Please stop in the main market building upon arriving to pay and get information about getting to the lavender field. We will provide you with scissors (which we ask you return) and a zip tie that when closed gently holds about 100 Lavender stems. A map to the field and directions on cutting will be given to those participating. It is just a short five to ten minute stroll to the field from the parking area.

*Only the lavender field will be open to the public. The fall activities area and playground is not open. Please follow map and pay attention to signs. We request that guests stay in the designated open areas. Please do not stomp on or pull plants from the ground, use scissors to cut blooms from plants.
